Cole Parker Posted April 10, 2017 Report Share Posted April 10, 2017 We certainly felt that fear in the US. Khrushchev was pictured as a madman. A UN shoe pounder, irascible and unstable. We thought him capable of anything. I must say in all honesty, however, that my bed in my dorm room that night was occupied only by me. More's the pity. C Link to comment
