JamesSavik
Autumn in Eden It was late October And the world was a little slower And the jack-o-lanterns smiled without mirth. Life was a little easier As we drank the new wine And we talked about the frost upon the earth. Things we couldn't say Stayed between us as we lay Examining our souls for purity and worth. We were found wanting, Not knowing what we wanted Banished from that place to roam the earth. We know the mark of Cain. We know that special pain. We have seen Eden's glade. If only we knew, we had it made. Link to comment
