They all look alike

Until they don't anymore

Is it them or you?

Cherry blossoms white
spring in glory abounds triumphant
Winter's cold forgot

Iris bloom white first
Then gold, purple, red and blue
Embracing April

Beauty is to eyes
What kindness is to pained heart
Healing touch needed

Spirits blaze passion
Minds and bodies touch knowledge
Grow beyond their sum

I am often humbled
what is instinct to children
adults oft forget

when touched by darkness
just remember who you are
in darkness, not of

why is pain so long
remembered and joy so fast
forgot? tears burn deep
