vwl
If you can handle a lot of college-fraternity scene (with lots of binge drinking) -- I can't -- you might like The English Year: http://www.gayauthors.org/story/jwolf/theenglishyearI had to skim many of the middle chapters until about Chapter 23 where the good interpersonal relationships come to fore. The main character is likeable, and his search for a real-love relationship is the enduring part of the story. However, the main character is also the fraternity social chairman, so there is a lot of inner-fraternity workings that, for me, weren't that interesting. But I can see how they might be for others. vwl
After a four-month hiatus, the series came back with three new chapters. I'm still reading it, which I guess is a recommendation. The first of the new chapters -- 28 -- is here: http://www.gayauthors.org/story/jwolf/theenglishyear/28 Link to comment
