  1. Awesome. (groan) Just binge read it, and it brought back all those little memories of previous reads of previous stories there. Marvellously crafted. Pure reading pleasure. ????
  2. Hell, there's no such thing as just one story either. Talk about binge reading this weekend. Sore butt, sore eyes, tears and smiles and even laughs out loud. ????
  3. I know what you mean, but I've been known to extend my day till 5 a.m. the next morning. Admittedly that's easier now that I'm retired from regular work.
  4. Very nice to read about this. Hopefully this will encourage many more.
  5. Oh please. No false modesty, please. Cole is great, no doubt about it, but you, and many others here, are hardly inadequate.
  6. Great story. Gripped me, and good fun. Some laughs, some tears. Well done, as usual Cole. ?? You’re here. That’s present enough for me.” If that was deliberate, my sincerest congratulations. ?????????
  7. That's even funnier than the already funny joke. ?
  8. That reminds me of "sanitation engineer" for the garbage collector.
  9. Great joke. It rings a sad bell, considering my 50 year high school reunion a year ago. ??
  10. I'm shocked. Just a little bit. ?
  11. Groan. Seriously though, it's not the Indian accent, it's that we can't understand the supposedly English words.
  12. The older I get the less funny looking college students seem to be.
  13. OMG. These cracked me up.
  14. Thanks, Captain Obvious. ?
  15. Funny. Even funnier; my auto correct turned "funny" into "from nanny", which boggles my mind.

I did not see that decapitation reference coming. Very funny.

If I remember correctly, Driver is under my contacts as Dan Driver. We haven't been in contact for quite some years, but he was very sick towards the end of our contacts. Something debilitating and causing him much pain. Just typing emails to me was both exhausting and excruciating, so we just stopped. He was being supported by a very close family, including his wife. At the rate of his decline over the years we chatted, I doubt he is still around. I never did find out his actual name, but he was a musician in an award winning group, but quit in order to love his family better.

    Kewl Dad

I think you might be right, but I'd hope that each story here would be judged on its own content, not on other stories at (on or in) other venues.
