  1. *Olli takes the chance* Carefully......
  2. Question is; Will the raccoon hug me back? (Nicely, I mean. And without the poo-thing.)
  3. And, yes, it was! Very nice chapter. Ik like the way it is evolving. I had a big smile when you introduced a famous name from the past. I am curious how you will develop that one. Great story to read! Oliver
  4. Trab; because I saw a documentary about it on Dutch television two weeks ago. Fascinating science, really. Much better than antibiotica. But they showed how the solution was made (dear readers; visualise a plastic container, added fluid and a spatula ), they showed how they 'give' it to the patient trough a tube, and not from behind.... Believe me, reading that article is nothing, compared to actually see that on tv. Chocolat-milkshake, anyone?
  5. Grossed out allready? Tsssk, Sissy. We can do better than that. Read this; Faecal transplants
  6. ..... and pays for it afterwards, Des. Oh, ehh, Rose; This is another hello to you!
  7. But what about the little sweet rabbits? Here in the Netherlands they are kept, fed, cuddled...... and eaten with Christmas. We're barbarians, I know. So you are saying that when it is not doing nice things for you or just ugly, you can eat it? *Olli looks at his manager* Anyone cares for a bite? I'd rather stick with Trab's opinion; it's cultural.

Yup, a trailer it is. Mine is slightly bigger and has a more standard colour. (You googled 'sleurhut', did you? Great!) OK, back on topic..... Tim. Yeah, that was it. No kidding Cole, we liked it. Tim got me carried away like, well, strolling on beaches........

I bougt the secondhanded caravan a few year ago. Is 'caravan' the right word in English? We call it a 'sleurhut' sarcastically sometimes. (Translation would be something like a 'towhut'.) It is just a one-and-a-half-our drive from my home. But my bed is standing at the beach (well, behind the dunes) there if I want to stay over during the weekends. I like the beach; not in the summer, but specially in springtime and fall. Empty sand, wind in your face and going home with a salty face.....
  10. Duncan; great story and great news. It is good te see that we are going to know how things went on for *****. But first of all, this one was already great. You did a great job of describing the things that go on in a relationship and in life. Liked it, loved it. Oliver

Hmm, I have to explain some things. First of all, when I like something I read, and I have the time... I just can't stop. Secondly, imagine this; I am at the coast*, brought my little caravan over there. I've got one because I like the beach, strolling along the sandy beaches. It is a spot on a campingsite from easter till the end of June. And, for the first time since 40 years, it is cold and it snows! That's very odd around here. So it is cold, it is snowing or raining and the winds are furious. But it is the beginnen of season so I refuse to go home. Read the first reason again; I've got time. :-) But I really really liked it, like the other stories you wrote. *Maybe interesting for Trab; it is near Vlissingen.......

Cole! What a pleasant surprise to see a (for me) complete new novel from you. Never seen it before. I read trough it in one evening and enjoyed it very, very much. Have you got more of those hidden surprises somewhere? Oliver
  13. Did the other woman got the leg-surgery so she can run faster to the toilet now?
  14. To be honest, I've never eaten stroopvet. It is the same with 'zure zult' (that has something to do with boiled brains and vinager); I just don't like it. But you surely can recognise the Dutch by dubbel zoute drop of zwart/wit. If somebody eats it without spitting it immediately out of the mouth again, he's Dutch. Here in the Netherlands we all lauged very hard about the scene in Pulp Fiction where John Travolta is amazed and disgusted by the fact the Dutch eat their French fries with mayonaise. We do. A lot. Belgians too.
  15. Stroopvet never thougt we'd be discussing that on a forum like this.
  16. Cole, Congratulations and thank you! This was one of the best things I've been reading online. I read it this morning and stared to my screen for a while after I finished the story. Doing a Matt, like Trab. It took me the rest of the day to think about what to say here. I can't find the right words in English to tell how I feel about it right now. I think Outstanding is a good one. (*Oliver regrets there is no 'marching band smiley*)
  17. There is, I think. Didn't see any "The end" or "final".... There must be. Last chapters (two in one time; thank you, thank you, thank you!) had a mavellous turn. I liked it. The story is working to an end, obviously. However that will turn out. We'll see how things go next Saturday. (Chapter 34 AND 35??? ) Nice job again, Cole!
  18. Trab is right. He shouldn't let it get that far. Unless he wants to. But this is just not the right thing to do. It's all or nothing. He plays with the feelings of Kevin. And those of his own. How long will Kevin accept that? That's, for me, the main "itch" in this story. And I am sure that's exactly the way Cole wants it to be. Next chapter please!
  19. What an ending! I like that little spark of hope. Elecivil, you did a great great job with writing Laika. The different characters, the interaction.... Well done. Despite the rather heavy subject sometimes, you never forgot the humour. Especially the rock-punk-subcultures thing. Will that ever stop? I am waiting for the day that every band has his own culture-name-thing. Mark, Alex... Great guys. To say, I laughed a lot while reading. You got me hooked till the last part. I still am, actually. If you ever want to let them come back in another story, please do so. I didn't change my socks, still the same colour. Not your fault, I am getting to old to change my habits, I guess. And please, do post the band/musician/song list. With some footnotes of the kind of whatever-kind-of-punkrock they belong. Otherwise we get confused and never understand it. Thanks for a great read! Oliver
  20. Naughty words? Me? I warned you, it is slightly diffrent from what I normally write. I also have my weak moments. I am working on an other story of mine, translating that into English. I am half way the story now. When it is finished, I'll send it to Trab. When he promised me not to laugh, that is. I really have no idea if I have been falling in those traps of translating. I must have. Just don't know where and how.... But a challenging project it is.
  21. We sure do. Cole, I think it was a misundestanding, I think I said it in English words but in a way we say it in Dutch. What i meant was that, if there would be a delay, I won't be mad and like it just as much. Like I like Laika. But it is like clockworks. Thanks to the Dude!
  22. it is yours, so make him to post on time. Nah, just kidding. It comes when it comes. Like Laika; not regular, but I really enjoy it! To get more into the subject; you did, again, a great job with the last chapter. And you're a cliffhangermeister again. Not for the excitement of naked bodies to come in sight, but I am curious about how this will work out between the three. Matt and Kevin, Timothy and Kevin? I am experiencing the nervous jealousy of Matt allready, to be honest. I'll be brave and wait till wednesday.
