    Dotage

    Thank you so much! Camy.
  2. My guess is that Neville is more important than he appears, and is one Voldemort should really be frightened of. I'm sure I read somewhere that Rowling said Dumbledore is definitely dead. Snape I'm not sure about. I'd like to think that he's on the side of good, and that Dumbledore's 'death' is a ruse, but somehow I don't think so. Snape's been bullied by a Potter, hates the son, and perhaps the reason Dumbledore has/had so much faith in him is that he's (drum roll for far flung weird idea) always been in love, and besotted with him. Yeah, I know - pah, ick, and yelch ... but it fits! Who knows, perhaps book seven will have two or three alternative endings. Whatever happens, she has to tie all the loose ends together. Does anyone know what a 'Deathly Hallows' is? Death on a Hallows eve, perhaps...? Camy
  3. Wibby's clue is as follows: He is J.K.Rowling, ergo, he know's. I hasten to add that I did point out 'caveat emptor' when I introduced him to the Nun that sold him the vial of poly-juice potion ... but you know how impatient he gets. Camy.
  4. Great! Much looking forward to it. I've been looking for 'Replay' in the boxes in the attic. It has to be there somewhere. I was sad to hear that Ken Grimwood died. A sequel would have been good to read. 'Groundhog Day' is one of my favourite movies.
  5. I'm thinking it would be Christian for you to take her aside, and have a few quiet explanatory words. Otherwise, I fear, it can only end in tears. Bwahahaha! erm ... seriously.
  6. we're all related somewhere down the line ... possibly.

  7. Why does your personal pic remind me of my personal pic? Are we related?

  8. I always have to log on if I get to the forums from the site's front page, however if, as someone suggested, I go directly to the forum (http://www.awesomedude.com/adboard/index.php), or click on a link to the forum in an email, I have no problem, and I'm already logged in. Weird! Camy

    Dotage

Dotage by Camy Does love come with built in obsolescence? Does it trigger x years down the line? I know I love you as I stare into your eyes. But who knows what will happen: if in years to come, I'm suddenly struck deaf, dumb, and blind. Will you care for me? as I enter my dotage. Will you wipe up dribble, and plenty worse to come? Or will you say “adieu! it was fun while it lasted: I'll send you a card when I'm back in town, now I'm afraid I've got to run.” Perhaps we'll sit in rocking chairs, on the back veranda, taking in the rays as the sun begins to set: Spinning yarns of the friends we've lost, and the children we've never had. Oggling the nurses - erectile dysfunction sad. Or perhaps we'll go out in one last blaze of glory! “Thelma and Louise? Pah! those centenarians knocked them flat!” We'll stage a coup and run the world, the way it should be run: End all war, strife and famine; fix the climate, and be back at the home … just in time for lunch. --- I was thinking about built in obsolescence. It's supposed to be a fact of modern day life, that most things, especially electronics and so called 'white goods' are meant to die after a certain number of years (5?), so we have to buy new ones. Anyway this popped out. I'm not to sure if I've got the punctuation right, though I know it needs punctuation. Me hope you likey, Camy ?2007
  11. *Off Topic* In my 'house' at school there were four showers; two individual ones, and a double one that had the nickname: 'the benders shower'. consequently no one would ever go in there out of choice - unless ordered to by a prefect. It was one of my biggest fears, being told to go in there AND then having an erection. *shudders* Sex drive varies a lot, and fades the older you get. Some people are very highly sexed, whilst others aren't. I really wouldn't worry about it, Trab. As Blue says, "If you get hard at all, then it's working the way it's designed to work."
  12. :icon_geek: Umm ... uncircumcised, and mine definitely has a mind of its own.
  13. For all Potter fans out there, rumour has it that book seven, entitled Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - the final book in the series - is going on sale on the 7th of July. http://www.answers.com/topic/harry-potter-book-seven
  14. Post it then! ... my mind is boggling.
  15. You could, or ask it in the green room, which is only open to members rather than the general public. Or PM someone you think might know. Blue's probably the one to ask, since it's his closet. ;)
  16. I'm wondering what exciting new thread Wibby will come up with next!
  17. GA updated their Invision board recently and had the same problem. I've no idea what they did to fix it, but it's ok now. Perhaps it's something in the config or settings? I thought it might have been to do with changing ip addresses, but I've been on all day and still have to log on again if I visit. My 'remember me' box is ticked.
  18. Spock scratched the tip of his ear, in contemplation. Kirk, Chekov, Scott, and Bones watched as he tapped away at the tri-corder. "Well, Spock?" Kirk said, after twenty irritating minutes. "Hmm," Spock replied. "I can't stay logged on either." "Damn!" Kirk stamped his foot, "ready the photon torpedoes!"
  19. I can't stay logged on either. I cleared the cache and all AD cookies, but nope. 'She canna go any faster captain - 'Montgomery Scott' :( Camy

    Windows Vista

That's one thing I dislike. They release an expensive product knowing it's full of holes, and buggy ... and then patch it up on the basis of complaints received. They let the general public who have paid for it act as their beta testers... meh.

    Windows Vista

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/6286245.stm I'm rather glad I'm still running windows 2000 - and I will not, not not not, be moving to Vista. Camy
  22. Phew, thank goodness. I was beginning to get antsy withdrawal symptoms. Thanks to Graeme, the Dude, and all those good internet sprites who persevered to bring the forums back. Camy a happy Emu
  23. I liked this a lot, and am looking forward to the next chapter with anticipation. Camy PS you mentioned 'replay' in your intro. Is this the novel where, in one of his lifetimes, he employs Speilberg to direct?
  24. Five? FIVE! Blimey, that's advanced. I don't think this counts. To be caught doing something wrong, surely you must know it's wrong to begin with, and at five you don't. When I first started 'thinking' about guys I do remember the guilt, the feeling of being BAD, and how wrong it was... though I don't remember why I thought it was wrong. That's for another thread. Camy
  25. Yeah but you were probably seen by lots of people. I should probably check YouTube for the video :) Do YouTube show wax cylinders? Actually, we were behind a chimney stack - the pigeons were the only ones shocked.
