  1. I want to take this opportunity to express apologies to some who have submitted stories on speculation over the past six months or so, by telling you that all stories - unless specifically declined - are being considered. As I have been doing almost all of the site on my own recently, it has been hard for me to consider new submissions when I have a backlog of submissions by existing AwesomeDude Authors. In the next few weeks - in between twice weekly updates and preparing new stories for posting by current AD Authors - I will be going back and re-considering stories that have been in the holding pattern. There are several criteria for a story to make the grade at AD. As I review those submissions over the next couple of weeks, I hope those who have submitted stories will go back and read our submission guidelines linked to the AwesomeDude Home Page. http://www.awesomedude.com/support/submissions.htm Thanks for your cooperation. Mike
  2. This is quite an interesting blog interview with Peter Stampfel, Submissions Editor at DAW Books - one of the only publishers in science fiction and fantasy who still accept unsolicited manuscripts. http://annakashinablog.wordpress.com/2012/05/24/interview-with-peter-stampfel-submissions-editor-daw-books/
