Rutabaga
Seems like the time is way overdue to acknowledge this continuing tale involving Asher and Seth (and now Freck and Kyle and . . . ). I like the way things are developing, even though these youngsters really seem like miniature adults. But then again, I suppose the same would be said about Ender in Ender's Game, which in fact is mentioned multiple times in the story. It hangs together . . . it's just unexpected. But that's actually one of the themes in the story, namely, how unexpected all of these young people are. My own time living in New York was spent in midtown and the Upper East Side so I have little familiarity with Greenwich Village or the Battery, but everything geographically rings true. I suspect a naughty spell checker/auto-correct action was responsible for "Major Deacon Expressway" at one point. I am really looking forward to the third part of the Christmas Storms series. Colin I discovered that right after I posted my comment. Kyle's ideas for the post-employment world have not worked at all well in France R Link to comment
Rutabaga
An entertaining New Year's chapter added to this saga. Somehow the word "precocious" seems dreadfully inadequate to describe Kyle and Freck. R Link to comment
