From The Heart by Codey is one of the top five stories I've ever read on the internet. Arguably, it's the best story I've read, though I know others may disagree.

At ten chapters, it's a manageable read and has an almost perfect mixture of strong characters, interesting story and great pacing. I highly recommend it.

I suspect that if there IS any disagreement, it would not be about this being a top-notch story, but only about if it falls within the top 5 ever. I know that for me, my taste and appreciation for a story changes depending on my mood at the time. A quality story will change my mood though, to whatever it is that the author wanted me to feel, and that is the mark of excellent writing (in my opinion). Codey's From The Heart definitely falls into that category.

I think anyone who has read that story has to agree it's incredibly powerful and ties your emotions into knots. Anyone who hasn't read it is missing a wonderful example of truly moving writing.
