I could not find any previous thread commenting on this story, somewhat to my surprise.

It is a tumultuous roller-coaster of a tale, and readers should be prepared for a rough ride with pronounced ups and downs. 

The only real annoying aspect of the story is a technical one -- it appears as one long, continuous web page for all of the chapters.  This makes reading on a smart phone difficult, because the rinky-dink browser keeps wanting to jump back near the beginning.  Someday I hope this story will be republished with user-friendly individual web pages for each chapter, as is currently done.
