Camy
Cole, if the planet gets hit by a meteor and I don't get to read the end of DDG, I will follow you to the end of forever prodding you with a sharpened pencil. Cliffhanger? No. Colehanger? Yes. Link to comment
Cole Parker
Isn't it the writer's job to keep the readers coming back for more? That's the service I try to provide: to keep my readers coming. C Oops. Back for more. BACK FOR MORE. Link to comment
colinian
Cole, if the planet gets hit by a meteor and I don't get to read the end of DDG, I will follow you to the end of forever prodding you with a sharpened pencil. Cliffhanger? No. Colehanger? Yes. A bigger worry than the planet getting hit by a meteor is that Cole's PC suffers some sort of meltdown and his hard drive and the rest of DDG go up in flames. Fear NOT! Colin is here! If (and ONLY IF) Cole loses any unpublished chapters of DDG, I have them safely stored on my laptop (encrypted), my desktop (encrypted), and my dad's home server (encrypted). I have them because I did some minor editing (that's all that was necessary) on DDG. Hmmm... now, what was that password that I used to encrypt DDG? It was something that was easy to remember. I think. Bother! Oh, yeah, I wrote it on a Post-It Note?! Let's see... damn, where is that Post-It Note?? Colin Link to comment

Trab
Blame it on Doug's distractions. Link to comment
Cole Parker
Colin's attentions to this story were not minor or trivial. He has a tremendous grasp on reality, and geatly helped shape the sum and substance of this story. He can be as coy as he wants, but his contributions were substantive. And hugely appreciated. Trab
WBMS, it's actually the teflon coating in the pots, and you need to be careful with the pans too. Link to comment
DesDownunder
WBMS, it's actually the teflon coating in the pots, and you need to be careful with the pans too. So Trab are you saying that the Teflon coating on the pots and pans, causes the memory not to stick? Link to comment
Trab
I'm trying to say the memory slips if you get fried. Link to comment
colinian
Pot does that to you :)::running away:: I will have you know that I don't smoke anything, never have and never will. I don't drink, either. I have other more amenable distractions to satisfy my urges. Colin Link to comment

colinian
Do tell... Sorry, Des. I'll never tell. Doug would yell at me if I did. NEVER! Colin Link to comment
Trab
If you think THAT's going to protect you, Colin, you've forgotten that you are talking to authors, and good ones at that. Between Des, and Cole, and countless others, they're quite able to make up what you don't tell. In fact, I think that might be a good idea for a topic: There once was a boy named Colin, and one day... Link to comment

Cole Parker
I'm not touching that with a ten foot Pole. If there is such a thing. I think the NBA would know if there were. Oops. I just used the subjunctive, which is Colin's pet peeve. What do you feed one of those, anyway? Pet Mart has never heard of them. C Link to comment

Insomniac
Nah. Chapter 18 is gonna suck. Gotta have balance, eh? Of course we do. That's why we have a bunch of writers who post material on-time and regularly and why we have writers who take forever to post chapters on their stories about two guys, a garage, and a BMW...
