Tanuki Racoon
I have a special project. There are three compound qualifications. I need someone who has NOT READ my two main works Alone With Myself and Not Entirely Alone With Myself. I also need you to have no specific intention of ever reading them. (If you've read my other works, that's okay. I don't even care if you liked my work or not. That is irrelevant for this project.) I might be able to use you if you read the first work but not the second. You do not need spelling or grammar skills (though it would be wonderful). English MUST be your primary language. There are no age, sex, or orientation requirements. You must be able to keep your mouth shut firmly for an extended period of time -- approximately one year: this includes that you are participating in the project as well as what the project covers. The project will take approximately one hour of your time over the course of one or two shorter sessions. (I'm guessing 3 sessions of 20 minutes.) I may have multiple positions open. If you meet these qualifications and would be willing to help out a really frustrated and cranky author (me), please e-mail me at writebymyself at(@) AOL dot(.) com and confirm you meet the above qualifications. If you have questions, e-mail me. I will accept a PM in lieu of e-mail. If you reply in this public forum you are automatically disqualified. Quote Link to comment
Cole Parker
You forgot to qualify whether he needs to be sexually active or not. C Quote Link to comment
Tanuki Racoon
You forgot to qualify whether he needs to be sexually active or not. I really don't give a flying fuck if he/she's celibate or a slut or somewhere in between. I care if they can read and think and meet my set of criteria. Quote Link to comment
Cole Parker
So if I'm reading this right, sex has nothing to do with this. Hmmmm. I'll pass. C Quote Link to comment
Trab
So, just to clarify...the person you want for this must not only NOT have read those books, NOR be interested in reading them. Are you going to MAKE them read them a piece at a time, or is reading them in future also going to be avoided? Quote Link to comment

Graeme
Much as I'd like to help it seems I'm disqualified. Same here, though he certainly had me intrigued. I was almost tempted to lie to find out what's going on... but I resisted. Quote Link to comment
Tanuki Racoon
It's part of a research project for something. It will lead to something you will see in 2009 sometime. And yes, by posting here, you've all been disqualified. Quote Link to comment
Trab
I was thinking about my sister, actually. She has no interest in reading your story, isn't gay, but doesn't condemn either. Quote Link to comment
Cole Parker
Let's see if I have this right. You want a response to your message from someone who hasn't read it. Uh, good luck, guy. *Scratches his head, then thinks scartching his balls might be more profitable, and wanders off into the sunset.* C Quote Link to comment
Insomniac
I can volunteer my bf, not sure what kind of feedback you're looking for though. Quote Link to comment

I volunteer my bf also, and you don't have to return him, but I bet you will. Just joking, my beloved is mine...Mine do you hear? Quote Link to comment

Tanuki Racoon
I can volunteer my bf, not sure what kind of feedback you're looking for though. Thanks, but that would probably not be a good idea for reasons I won't disclose. I have one volunteer and a second probable volunteer which is sufficient enough, though not quite ideal. And yes, by posting here, you've all been disqualified. I have one volunteer and a second probable volunteer which is sufficient enough, though not quite ideal. Of course, every good research project needs a control group. You should have a control group made up of people who HAVE read Alone With Myself and Not Entirely Alone With Myself and who have posted on this forum. BTW, I'm not volunteering. Second semester starts in a little over a month from now, and I won't have time. Colin Quote Link to comment
DesDownunder
Oh, God. Graphic scenes. Or scenic grafts. Quote Link to comment
Cole Parker
Scenic grafts. I've got to stop reading this shit. My stomach muscles need time to recover. C Quote Link to comment
