colinian
Three brothers filed a civil lawsuit charging the Mormon Church, the Boy Scouts, and their stepfather over alleged sexual abuse that started when they were preteens in 1977 and lasted about ten years. The statute of limitations for criminal charges has passed. Read the story and watch the video here. Colin Quote Link to comment
Trab
The Church's lawyer's claim that the Church is not responsible is about as valid as the Catholic Church's claims about their priests. When it is done by someone in a position of trust within an organization, and that organization doesn't act to stop it when notified, it very much becomes their responsibility as well as the perpetrator's. JamesSavik
I wonder if I can join the suit. Make a big party of a class action suite and bring them all down. Quote Link to comment
DesDownunder
I'm thinking of suing my local church. I never got molested and I want to know why? Quote Link to comment
Trab
Sorry Des, but they don't actually go out to do that, you have to attend the molestation center of your choice. Quote Link to comment
