DesDownunder
Well, I am not a Zombie movie fan, I have long since overcome (no pun intended) any fascination with porn movies, but the gay zombie sounded like a good twist (still no pun intended). Then I read the reviews of the film on various sites, and it seems like it's not worth getting excited, unless you find zombies doing it, exciting. (Twilight's Taylor Lautner is the exception.) As usual our censors in Australia show no common sense ability to keep their mouths shut and just let the film screen at the festival without comment. Ever since they banned the original 1933 King Kong, they have acted as an advance publicity unit for the movies. The director of L.A. Zombies summed it nicely when he stated his reaction to the ban with an emphatic, 'Eureka!' meaning he recognises the power he now has to publicise his movie in other countries as "Banned in Australia." In the meantime we Aussies are once again seen as the laughing stock of the freedom of speech world, with our quaint ideas about what will corrupt us, or perhaps give the straights, an idea of what is possibly another fantasy whilst they pleasure their wenches. I have no problem with classification, but censorship deserves a Zombie curse. Quote Link to comment
