Scrivener - now for Windows

Scriverner, according to some THE writer's software, is due to be released for windows. Version 1 will be out in February 2011, but the beta is going to be available from the 25th October - for those interested in NaNoWriMo.

Further, Scriverner v2.0 for Mac is also out on the 25th. This is not a beta and looks pretty amazing.

If you use the code NANOWRIMO when you buy either of them you get 20% off. If, however, you take part in NaNoWriMo and win (50,000 words in November) you get a 50% off code. Scrivener is $45 full price.

I've been playing with it on my Mac and I think it's great. Then again I haven't actually buckled down and written anything with it yet, so I can't hoot and holler too loudly. ;)
