This week - January 28th

Black Sheep ~ Chapter 17 of Part 2 of a Novel by Kia. Vic has a dark past and an uncertain future, but right now he is falling in love. Jack adores him and everything seems to be online for a dream romance... until the past starts to catch up with Vic and his love is tested to the limits. Can Jack get past his own fear and Vic's pain and bring his Black Sheep back into the fold?

Mature or distressing themes. This story deals with violence and self-harm.

I'm Sticking Around for a While ~ Chapter 26 of a Novel by Colin Kelly. You suddenly realize that you're in a hospital room looking at a patient... you need to find out why he's here. And then why you're here.

Laundry ~ A Short Story by Ben Whisman (Blue). Machine wash cold. Tumble dry low. Use only non-chlorine bleach to avoid streaking.

Featured: Solitary Night ~ A Short Story by Ryan Miller from the Codey's World archive. An obsession with playing solitaire on the computer helps when sleep and dreams and black nothingness won't come to shut out sad memories.

Last week

Reorientation ~ Chapter 12 of a Novel by Colin Kelly. Jason announces to his family that he's gay. His sisters and his father tell him that it doesn't make any difference, they love him regardless of whether he's gay or straight or whatever. But what about his mother? Can she come to accept that her son is gay?

Repugnance ~ A Short Story by Colin Kelly. Commuting lets us encounter a lot of different people Some of them you'd rather not encounter. For example, a person who looks like they are homeless.

Featured: From the Heart ~ A Novel by Codey from the Codey's World archive. Could you love a friend when he needs more than you know how to give? How deep is true friendship, and how much does a friend do? This novel has laughter and tears, and something else along the way.
