Actor Johnny Galecki (Big Bang Theory, Roseanne, among others) answers interviewer's question about his response to the rumors that he's gay:

It's nice he would say that, but the reality is, he dated Kaley Cuoco for two years, and I don't think he's gay. I think an honest answer would be, "I don't think an actor's sexual orientation should be an issue, and if I was gay, I'd have no problem talking about it. But I'd rather leave my personal life out of this and only talk about my acting." No problem with that.

Either answer is fine. I think his answer shows inclusive and forward thinking. I'd agree, his personal life is really his and not other people's business.
