Gee Whillickers
...in a lake. On an island. In a lake. On an island. In the ocean. For some reason I now feel like watching Inception again. http://maps.google.com/maps?q=14.00954N+120.9962E+&hl=en&ll=14.004699,121.002216&spn=0.03531,0.066047&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=58.206849,114.169922&t=h&z=15 Link to comment
JamesSavik
Taal Lake is just South of of the city of Manila on the big island of Luzon- largest island in the Philippines. The whole area is very geologically active as it sits on the boundaries of four tectonic plates: the Philippine Sea plate, the Eurasian plate, the Indo-Australian plate and the Indian plate. Malaysia is in the same geological area and was home to the 2005 Christmas tsunami which was caused by a magnitude 9 quake on the sea floor. The Philippine Islands are home to at least 20 active volcanoes and over a hundred dormant ones. Link to comment
