Delay to site updates

Mike (Dude) has had a fall and suffered a fractured hip and shoulder. He is undergoing emergency surgery to replace his hip and will be out of action for at least a few days.

Unfortunately I don't have access to chapters for all of the current serials. We thought it would be unfair if one author's story was updated and others were not, so there will be no site update on Wednesday 14 September. Mike is hoping he'll be able to carry out the Friday/Saturday update.

He asked me to apologise to everyone for the delay.

So sorry to her of this! I hope Mike comes through the surgery without issue, and heals well and quickly! I will miss my biweekly dose of new chapters, but I will patiently wait and send continuous good wishes for Mike’s recovery.

Bummer bummer bummer!  Poor Mike!  The good news is that the success rate for this kind of operation is quite high.  We will keep Mike in our thoughts and prayers and wish him a speedy recovery.  The stories will keep -- there are more important things!

Such terrible news!  Mike hasn't had the best of luck the past few years, and this is just one more thing poured on top.  He's so valuable to all of us, deserves better, and I'm sure everyone wishes for him to have a complete, rapid, painless recovery.  

Good luck, Mike, and come back when you can.  You'll be missed.
