Camy
A Thought For Sunday by Camy Dearly beloved! We are gathered here today to praise the lord! The lord our god in heaven above. The lord our god in heaven above, whose son we slowly and painfully crucified. The lord our god who means so much to us in our lives today. Praise be to god. --------------------------- You think I care but in truth I don't give a damn You took my Son and with hammer and nails killed the man Yet here we are two thousand years down the line You still revere me, still think I'm divine And yet you took my son to Golgotha Hill Destroyed the man, the one who loved you still How could you think, how could you think I would ever forgive you? This God will give you blood to drink. I know I'm late but where I live transport is shite But now I'm here I'm going to put it all right I've started small, a tsunami to stir up the pot The second course, a pandemic should just hit the spot! And yet you took my son to Golgotha Hill Destroyed the man, the one who loved you still How could you think, how could you think I would ever forgive you? This God will give you blood to drink.... http://www.awesomedude.com/camy/tunes/gwgybtd.mp3 ------------------------------- Okay, so it's not a poem per se. But it's pretty poetical... and it is Sunday. Quote Link to comment

Paul_and_Paco
Cool! Was that a Wurlitzer? Though I am not particularly religious, it was a nice poem. Quote Link to comment
