Lytro - an incredible 'camera'

I just found out about a truly amazing new camera technology called Lytro. Rather than capturing a single static plane of focus, Lytro captures the entire light field which means you can focus after you take the shot - or re-focus. Nice... it would be nicer if it worked with windows instead of just Mac.

Yeah, I've heard of these. Apparently the technology isn't quite all the promoters make it out to be. At least not yet. Give it time though, I remember when digital cameras first started out, and everybody "in the know" said to not bother as they'll never take off and never be near as good as film.
