vwl
It has been quiet on the good-story front, alas, but I have found Daron's Guitar Chronicles http://daron.ceciliatan.com/ engaging. The story is about the development and ultimate success and relationships of a rock musician -- a guitarist. The story has that feeling of verisimilitude as if the author had been close to a rock band. The story is up to over 300 very-short chapters, and though unfinished, is still worth the read even if it is never completed. The author maintains a twice-a-week update schedule, almost without fail, so I expect completion. Worth a first alert. Quote Link to comment
Camy
300 chapters?!?! Quote Link to comment
vwl
Very short chapters. Quote Link to comment
colinian
Some of the chapters seem like a collection of Tweets. Or a short-article Blog. Still, it's worth reading. I'm looking forward to chapter 1,000 myself. Colin Quote Link to comment

Cole Parker
I don't care how short they are, I don't want to click open and clicker close 300 chapters to see what he has to say. I'd wear out my clicker, and I'm very fond of my clicker and don't want to abuse it. C Quote Link to comment

TracyMN
I was thrilled to see roughly 100 chapterettes posted while I was away- a quarter of which are history... Quote Link to comment
The Pecman
I don't care how short they are, I don't want to click open and clicker close 300 chapters to see what he has to say. I'm with Cole. Just combine 10 short chapters into one conventional chapter. A novel is not a Tweet. Quote Link to comment
TracyMN
Don't let its format deceive you. Cole, 300 clicks = 30 minutes of power walking. Quote Link to comment
Cole Parker
I'm glad to see the 'l' there instead of an 'n'. Just the idea makes me sore. C Quote Link to comment
TracyMN
LOL, I'm not telling you how long it took me to figure that out, Cole! OK, so 5 minutes. But that's a lifetime in the world of sarcasm. Be great if it was actually funny. Quote Link to comment
The Pecman
On the other hand... Stephen King's epic novel The Stand has I think 87 chapters and runs 1152 pages... But that's an exception. Quote Link to comment
