Chris James
We've had a plethora of dog stories the past few months...sorry all you cat lovers. In this story by Dabeagle we have a very smart dog who seems to understand the needs of his master much better than most humans might imagine. Where can I find a dog like this? A comforting tale that explains how we handle grief and loss of loved ones in terms of living. There are few surpises in the plot, and those that appear are well explained. This is a story that spans the generations and defines the characters so very well. Hats off to Dabeagle for including an ordinary slice of life with all the aches and pains of growing older. Also, two points for the most unusual character name I have read all year. Go there, read this: http://www.awesomedu...og_we_trust.htm Quote Link to comment
Cole Parker
He also includes a busybody neighbor with a heart of gold. She's my favorite character. C Quote Link to comment
Chris James
And Henderson is a whacko. I used to live in a neighborhood like that. Quote Link to comment
Cole Parker
spoiler alert: Well, anyone who roots for the Cubs is by definition a wacko. C Quote Link to comment
Gee Whillickers
The thing with Dabeagle's stories is how they always draw me in, make me feel like I can see the scene, feel what the characters are feeling, and completely relate to what they're going through. Another excellent story, bravo and well done. Quote Link to comment
