Just caught this unusual tale on Nifty, which is a 1970s romance between two young teenagers. I initially kind of dismissed it as kind of a sex-intensive (albeit nostalgic) kind of thing, but the story gets a lot darker and more serious as it goes on. I was very surprised by the caliber of the writing, which grew stronger over time. Check it out here:
