Chris James
The southern US is overrun with Hispanic workers and there are probably dozens of corner bodegas carrying jalapeno peppers. Good way to clear out the sinuses if you have a cold. Link to comment
Chris James
I have discovered the source of the ignorant masses supporting Donald Trump...they live here in Florida. Only a fool would vote for The Donald and probably just as many fools would decide the following is a good idea: http://www.palmbeachpost.com/news/news/lottery-officials-beware-of-online-powerball-share/np3ym/ I mean really, if you don't understand this to be a total scam then you deserve to vote for Trump. Chris James
You have to wonder...if one of our closest allies thinks The Donald is crazy then why in the world would we allow him to become president? http://www.cnn.com/2016/01/19/politics/uk-parliament-trump-debate/ In his own words, Trump says many in the world have disrespect for America and he would fix that. I cannot imagine this country with that blowhard in charge. We are fortunate in that our system of government does not allow all the power to reside in one individual. He may be popular but is he electable? Let's hope not. Just noticed: the Southern Baptist Convention has now decided that Trump is less than Christian because he is a "serial adulterer." ChrisR
Just what the heck is a waddock anyway? The Urban Slang dictionary says that when plural it mean a pair of tits. So he's a single tit? The Newfoundland dictionary says it's a football. Not sure which type. And in Donny's <shudder> defense, I'd suggest getting the Parliamentarians' quotes concerning his stance on immigrants and superimposing them on refugee encampment footage from Calais. JamesSavik
People think I'm a militarist because I insist on a President that has military experience and, preferably combat experience. It's NOT because I am a militarist . I want a chief executive that knows and understands the consequences of pulling the trigger and NOT an impulsive blowhard who feels the need to prove that he has a pair. Link to comment

Cole Parker
I just hope, when Trump is the Republican candidate, America wakes up to who he is and realizes he doesn't have the ability to do what he claims he can do without Congressional approval, and that wouldn't be forthcoming, so we'd have another eight years of governmental inertia. Not that that would be all bad. If he could do what he boasts, we wouldn't be America any longer. C Link to comment
Merkin
It is instructive to take note of how Adolf Hitler was able to capture the hearts and minds of his followers early in his career. Among his techniques was to rail against a perceived left-ward tilt toward socialism and communism, and to blame Germany's ills on particular groups and ethnicities: http://www.historyplace.com/worldwar2/riseofhitler/party.htm Link to comment
Nigel Gordon
There is one big difference between Hitler and Trump. Hitler was a demagog who knew how to use language to put a point over. Even people who were opposed to him had to agree that he could be, and was, very persuasive. Having seeing listened to a number of Trumps speeches all I hear is populism, bluster and the linguistic ability of a ten year old. The problem of course is that ten year olds can be bloody persuasive. Every tried getting out of a supermarket with one in tow and not buying them some sweets. Link to comment
Chris James
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/trump-im-president-christianity-power-195834887.html The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit...oh yeah, and The Donald. Christian power is a decidedly new move on Trump's part. He is right, there are a lot of Christians in the country. At question is just which Christians is he talking about? So far it looks like right wing nuts with guns who believe the end times are nigh. Giving power to religion means a theocracy and I doubt if his desires will pass the Constitutional test. As if we need further proof that Trump makes a lot of noise, makes promises he cannot keep, and in typical narcissistic fashion is setting himself up to be a demi-god. There is too much talk without reason and no one has cast a single vote. A vote for Trump just might bring on the end times, at least for the US of A. Link to comment

Right there, in that video, Donald Trump said something that disqualifies him from ever being President of the United States of America. He said, and I quote, "... and you know, my mother was from Scotland..." — so he's not a naturally born American citizen! Regardless of where he was born, his mother was from Scotland so he's a naturally born citizen of Scotland and not a naturally born citizen of the United States of America. He and Ted Cruz can go off to Scotland and Canada where they are obviously citizens of those countries and plant potatoes or whatever they do in those countries and not bother us. So there!
