Sorry for the long, long delay... but work always has to come first (we have a mortgage to pay!). Things have been crazy-busy at work the past month and a half. My group has increased from seven to twelve developers plus two supervisors, plus me, of course. With two of my original team taking on the supervisory positions and having one group of people doing UX (user experience) Design and the rest doing Web Development, each group having a supervisor, it's making it possible to handle all of the new projects and clients brought in by our very effective sales department. And my personal workload has become more managerial — that means I won't have to work evenings and weekends as often now.

THE LEGEND OF KIWAKAAZI ~ Chapters 5 and 6 of Book Four of a Novel by Nanak. This is an exciting combination of African folklore, mythology, fantasy, and adventure. The story revolves around a nineteen year old intelligent young scientist, Kiwakaazi, in ancient Africa. In Book Four we have to ask: How is thin, weak and naive Kiwakaazi going to survive against all of those that want to kill him? The epic and yet very spiritual journey of Kiwakaazi and other related stories have been captured in this story. Enjoy!

The Busboy Chapters 11 and 12 of a Novel by Cole Parker. Jim wants to rescue a kid in trouble. He has no idea what comes next.

Featured stories are from our archive and we think you'll enjoy reading them again — or for the first time.
The Ghost in the Machine ~ A Short Story by Colin Kelly Don is a computer science major at U.C. Berkeley and is working as a summer intern at Olintex Corporation. He's asked to help solve a strange problem with one of the network computers. Will he discover what's wrong, or could it be that there is a ghost in the machine?
