THE LEGEND OF KIWAKAAZI ~ Chapters 13 and 14 of Book Three of a Novel by Nanak. This is an exciting combination of African folklore, mythology, fantasy, and adventure. The story revolves around a nineteen year old intelligent young scientist, Kiwakaazi, in ancient Africa. In Book Three we have to ask: How is thin, weak and naive Kiwakaazi going to survive in Nomposuro? The epic and yet very spiritual journey of Kiwakaazi and other related stories have been captured in this story. Enjoy!

The Barlow Boy ~ A Short Story by James Savik. Some religions, and some of their practitioners, interpret the Bible using strictures that call out for introspection.

DeMarcus Cullman and the Powers that Be ~ A Short Story by Cole Parker. The statue of Lady Justice wears a blindfold to show that justice will be dispensed objectively, without fear or favor. Sometimes it takes a lot of effort to accomplish that goal.

One Satisfactory Outcome ~ A Short Story by Colin Kelly. When things finally start going right, there’s always a nagging feeling that there’s something missing. This is a sequel to the story One Questionable Outcome.

Featured stories are from our archive and we think you'll enjoy reading them again — or for the first time.
Not All Angels Have Wings ~ A Short Story by Steve Temke. Not all monsters have fangs, and not all angels have wings.
