Thanks for your comments, James. Walnut Creek is a great place to live. And the high schools and business are gay-friendly. Where Doug and I live the neighbors know we're married and everyone is friendly and we visit with each other.

Well, I wouldn't characterize it that way—merely excellent. When I started I had something in mind and was able to put in on paper (see? You can easily see how old I am; putting it on paper? Really?) but realized that while it satisfied me, it wouldn't most other people. It's a story from several POVs (Colin doesn't like stories like that, but a bunch of them are getting published) and I'd worked the relationship between the two antagonists out perfectly, uh, excellently, but realized while it worked for them, it left the readers hanging. So I'm plowing forward with another voice. Hope I can make it work. I got a decent start on it today.
And Camy? Get off your ass and write! You do a marvelous job, and your writing here is terribly missed.

Of course, selecting such a limited fragment of dialogue means we don't know the context. Looking at the source could reveal the reason for this particular wording. Is it written this way on purpose? Or is it a story that needs editing?

Love Is Blind is marked as complete. But sometimes that happens with a story on GA that will have more chapters. I'm not sure if Love Is Blind will have more chapters, or if these two chapters is all. In that case, it's a very satisfactory story. It doesn't need any more.
