  1. One reason I say, if you're gay, don't marry a woman. Duh. I fear there may well be someone here who has, and I'm not saying you're wrong. You have your own reasons and situation.

But speaking for myself and with my own opinion, it's stupid. Unless you're bi, I guess.

If you're gay, and in the closet, fine. I am. I've been in the closet for about 30 years. I've dated women, had sex with women, even had a woman who wanted to move in and live with me for a while. I said no, I don't want anyone living with me. Which I don't. I like living alone for the most part. It would be great to have a good guy to come home to, but until/unless I find that great guy, I'm not going to 'settle' for a woman.

But then, I'm not a politician.

  2. Gay ex-gov claims threesome tryst

By ANGELA DELLI SANTI, Associated Press Writer 11 minutes ago

TRENTON, N.J. - He says yes. She says no. He says yes. Former New Jersey Gov. Jim McGreevey said Monday he and his wife and a male aide engaged in sexual threesomes, contradicting a denial issued hours earlier by his estranged wife.

In an e-mail to The Associated Press, the nation's first openly gay governor said published reports by former campaign aide Teddy Pedersen were true.

In interviews posted online Sunday night by The Star-Ledger of Newark and the New York Post, Pedersen said he had consensual sex with the couple for about two years before McGreevey became governor. He said he had contact only with Dina Matos McGreevey during the trysts, and wasn't sure whether McGreevey was gay.

In his statement, McGreevey said he and his estranged wife need to move forward for the sake of their 6-year-old daughter.

"This happened, this happened in the past, and now we need to move on with our lives," McGreevey, 50, said without being specific.

His e-mail to The Associated Press came shortly after one from Matos McGreevey. She said Pedersen's claims of consensual three-way sex "are completely false and were prompted by Jim McGreevey."

"Jim has had a close relationship with Pedersen since his days as mayor of Woodbridge, and arranged jobs for Pedersen from that time through his years as governor and beyond," said Matos McGreevey, 41. "They have continued their close relationship since Jim left office. This was obviously payback time for Pedersen."

The McGreeveys are in the midst of an acrimonious divorce. She accuses him of hiding his homosexuality before and during their marriage and has sued for damages. He has said she should have known he was gay.

Pedersen, 29, told the newspapers the threesomes went on for about two years during the McGreeveys' courtship and into their marriage. He said the trysts ended when McGreevey was elected governor in 2001.

Pedersen said he came forward because he was angry that Matos McGreevey was offering television commentary on the resignation of New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer, who stepped down last week amid a call-girl scandal. During her commentary, Matos McGreevey said she was blindsided when her husband announced his homosexuality.

McGreevey resigned in 2004 after acknowledging an affair with a male staffer who he said was trying to blackmail him. The ex-staffer said he was sexually harassed by the Democratic governor.

The McGreeveys separated shortly after McGreevey's nationally televised speech in which he declared himself "a gay American."

  3. Very interesting indeed. Nice. I did the same thing, write the same story from different characters points of view. It's a great exercise in writing and a lot fun since it's so different.

Loved that she noticed the brushing at the end, and how you wrote it.

  4. I can't be emptied, I can't be filled, you can't put me down, you can't pick me up, but you carry your most important things in me. What am I?

Three possible answers have been offered in chat in mirc and over IM.

I won't comment on answers until tomorrow night.

  5. HOLY JUMPING JACKS

Post a normal request and it becomes a pun-fest!

    I like this place. :wav:

And I don't mind if the editor is long or short, lol.

Just edit me baby! Yes! Take off those commas and show me those dangling participles!

    WOOOOOOO!

Oh, and BTW, Nifty has agreed to republish the story even though it still exists on the servers from 2006. A letter after the first one saying it was added, said he looked forward to the second version. NEAT-O! And they are publishing the second version alongside the first.

  6. I avoided this thread for a while, because I knew it would fire me up. It did. Another hate speech applauded. If you replaced "gay" and "homosexuals" and etc from her speech and inserted "Jews", she would be under arrest.

She should be extricated, but not arrested. Everyone has the right to speak freely their own thoughts and opinions. But bordering on hate, and inciting to cause harm or inflict damage, is WAAAAAAAAAAAY to far for any kind of speech to be allowed to be free.

That is an example of hatred and bigotry and she should be ashamed and treated like a pariah.

  7. Uh, Caylor,

I hate to be the one to break the news to you, but you must have missed February 29. :shame: Your message was written on March 13, you thought it was March 12. Remember: Spring foreword; Fall back. :icon6:

    Colin :icon_geek:

Isn't that SOOOOOOO strange? I've been doing that all month, as if my subconscious refuses to admit to the leap day.

    :hehe:

But that isn't the same thing as the stupid time change (spring ahead, fall back). That wasn't a prob. My computers and such did it for me, and only my bedside alarm clock and microwave needed changed. Same for the date though, and I still think one day behind.

  8. Must like gay teen male fiction and sexual stories. Over half the chapters have sexual activites. This story is pure Nifty type reading material, except some chapters do not have any sex.

Over 30 chapters. This story was written for online (Nifty) over a year ago, and only recently finished.

Serious attempts at editing only. Especially need help with comma usage and other syntax and sentence structure points.

Contact me here or PM or email. You can read the prologue at http://smokr.info/gaystories/rayscircle.htm

It will give you an idea of what my 'style' is. I will provide the next chapter so you can read further to be sure you are willing to edit such a sexual explicit story.

More than one editor/opinion is welcome.

  9. Eeeeeeow! Nicely done, making the hurt of losing someone such a repetitive coinsurance that you lose track of whom hurt when. That only ads to the overall sense of losses and griefs through life.

  10. You have to admit, basing measurements on the radius of the planet, instead of the length of someone's foot, is far more reasonable.

    And sane.

The metric system is easier, and far better than the 'standard' system. The US was supposed to make the big switch decades ago, but inches, feet, pounds and gallons still rule. We buy gas and milk by the gallon, meat and vegetables by the pound. Sodas and water in 12 oz cans or 20 oz bottles. Thought liters are popular in sodas for the 1 and 2 liter sizes. But that's about it.

Imagine, a system of volume based on the density of water as a base unit. Instead a gallon is based on the amount of sea water that weighed ten pounds. And a pound was based on 15 "tower ounces" or about 6,750 grains weight of grain.

    Thanks wikpedia.
