Altimexis Posted March 25, 2020 Report Share Posted March 25, 2020 Hi all, When I started to write a New York novella called Passover Pathos, it was intended to be a lighthearted look at celebrations of Passover and Easter, but that was before New York City became an epicenter of Covid-19. How could I write about large gatherings of kids and school and so on, in the face of a society in lock-down? Obviously, changes had to be made. The novella has been renamed Passover Panic and all three parts will be posted simultaneously rather than serially. There are new characters and new romances in addition to the old, all in the face of the emergence of a global pandemic. This is the first story I've written that deals with Covid-19, but it won't be the last. You can expect future stories that deal with finding romance online and losing a loved one. For better or worse, the future of my stories is being rewritten by the lives we are leading right now. Link to comment
