Guest Rustic Monk
Howling Towards Infamy Gabriel Duncan Sometimes I wonder if it’s worth it to try Or if I made the right choice Wading out In to the high tide But then again I wonder why it had to die The spark the flame The will to coincide See, I was just like you Fresh faced and prepared to do Whatever it was to reach grand cru I sat in my cask, Waiting for the day I’d see the light Letting myself mature And getting ready for the flight I would have stepped on the poorest Sat with the richest And fed the extortionists To reach a modest fortune But I found that my ground Reaches farther And rings the truest Of any bourgeois sound It’s not the width around But the depth of the red I had two paths I picked faintest tread So I may end up famous Or I may end up dead I may make it to Vegas Italy, or a humble b&b instead But I’ll remember my days inside And the money I paid To push it aside And go my own way .
