DesDownunder
This article raises several issues on copyright and manipulation of artists in general for corporate profit. http://blogs.news.com.au/horeyandson/index...h_those_rights/ A thought occurs that we could extend what is happening to the music industry to our own poems and stories. In light of some desire to publish and earn an income from those stories, then paid advertising accompanying the stories would be one way to sustain the site as well as make an admittedly probable small return to the authors. I understand the reluctance for horrid advertising. I am not suggesting that AwesomeDude should do this, I am just noting that this is an idea surfacing as a viable alternative that shifts payment from the consumer to a sponsor in the form of advertising. It seems that this is happening in some areas and is one way to give some artists an income. Interesting. PS I hate advertising. Quote Link to comment
