colinian Posted June 4, 2008 Report Share Posted June 4, 2008 The California Supreme Court today refused to stay their precedent-setting gay marriage ruling. Eleven states had filed "friends of the court" briefs supporting the request that had been made by opponents of gay marriage who have qualified a referendum on the November ballot that would define marriage as only between a man and a woman.
