Set in Mike's fictional nation which I picture as near Austria :-), Mike has made a nice start with a mood piece that tells you so much about the first day at a new school in a slightly odd foreign country... without intrusive description... almost pure mood setting. I admire his touch greatly and look forward to seeing the plot develop.

Very nice beginning, though the back-and-forth structure threw me a little. We'll see where it goes. Arram usually does very good work.
