Chris James
Especially now that bees seem to be headed for the endangered species list scientists have discovered they are needed more than ever: http://news.wustl.edu/news/Pages/25061.aspx Besides spreading pollen to crops and flowers, maybe humans need the occasional bee sting...Ouch! Chris James
This story is spreading like wildfire across the diverse media in the gay world. After thirty years of the Gay Plague...could it be this easy? But why a vaginal gel? Hello, am I missing something here? Link to comment
The Pecman
Sadly, Mr. Jewel Akens, who had the classic 1965 #3 hit "The Birds and the Bees," just passed away about a week ago! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RaaVbWD3USI Link to comment
Chris James
Ahh, the Pecman has caught the title of this thread perfectly. I saw the article about Jewel Akens passing and thought to myself that there are few of the great singers left from that period. That was back in the day when music was kind to the heart and the ears. Gone, gone, and all we are left with is rap crap which is less than musical. Where are my earplugs? Link to comment
The Pecman
I think "Let Me Tell You About the Birds and the Bees" would be a terrific title for an adolescent/teenage love story. That one was right up there with "Groovy Kind of Love" for me, also from around the same time (actually a year later, 1966). Link to comment
