FreeThinker
This interesting blog on The New York Times site discusses lost words in English and the dangers of writing period or historical works in which one tries to use the lingo of that period. She discusses the danger of losing the modern reader when trying to capture the air of the earlier period. It's a intersting article with lots of fun, achaic words. http://opinionator.blogs.nytimes.com/2013/09/21/the-lost-slumgullions-of-english/?ref=opinion&_r=0 Link to comment
