Same-sex marriage reaches New Jersey

The above is a law site blog reporting on the unanimous decision by the Supreme Court of New Jersey not to stay the earlier decision by Superior Court Judge Mary Jacobson ordering officials to start granting marriage licenses from this coming Monday.

The supreme court will still hear the appeal but it won't stop the marriages in the meantime. Given an unanimous decision not to stay the order, that doesn't sound good for the appeal
