colinian
And a Merry Christmas to you. Looking at that picture I don't know whether to laugh at the amusing situation or be sad because the poor guy had to do all that digging. I guess it's a combination of funny and sad, isn't it. And I really hope that isn't you in the picture, Grant! Colin Quote Link to comment
Grant Bentley
It's definitely not me Colin. It's one of the kids I taught many years ago. That drift is from one blizzard at the end of November. Thirty six hours before that picture was taken, there was no snow, patches of green grass even. haha Quote Link to comment
Merkin
If that's the way winter is in Calgary, then my personal Calgary Stampede would be to get out of town heading South. Quote Link to comment
colinian
Sorry, it was won by someone in San Jose California, someone in Georgia, and someone in Ohio. Apparently. According to the news tonight. My odds of winning the lottery aren't dependent on whether I buy a ticket or not. I always lose, so instead of spending the $5.00 for five quick-picks I put the $5.00 in a jar in our bedroom. I'm making more doing that than if I had bought those losing numbers.
