A Voice from our childhood...

... has passed away. June Foray was the voice of Rocky the Squirrel, Boris Badinov's girlfriend Natasha, Dudley Dooright's girlfriend Nell, Tweetie Bird's owner, and the original Betty Rubble, as well as the voice of the Chatty Cathy doll. She was 99. For those of us who grew up on Saturday morning cartoons in the 60's, this is a sad day.

I had no idea all of those characters were voiced by the same person. Sad to see her go.

She was great at voice-over and sounded exactly like a kid. And she was a really nice person, too.
