Mark Peters has an engaging new detective story going over at Dabeagle's Doghouse.

The Mardi Gras Murders is set in Sydney, which is famous for it's annual Gay Festival.

The story centers on a young police detective who is not only gay but has a lesbian partner.

A current murder investigation seems linked to a tragedy in the the detective's own past,.

It is very well written and is up to Chapter 8 with regular updates. Mark has me hooked.

Thanks for the tip off, Dude, I am reading the story now. Despite a few awkward typos here and there the story is holding together quite well. Let's hope Mark continues to post chapters in a timely manner, mysteries demand that much.
