Amazing how they can survive a fall of that magnitude. I remember watching a nature show where ducklings had did the same thing only they fell from a tree. Once on the ground, all the ducklings followed the mother for a long trek to the nearest water and safety.

I used to think that I fell off the edge of the world and hadn't landed yet. Then, I became an atheist and discovered that the world was round, which means I'm in a low orbit until I free-fall smack into the planet's surface, unless I land in an ocean and drown.
