  1. Thanks Dude...

Kewl is the Swedish word for describing something/someone funny.

Probably copied by random people who thinks it's pronounced 'cool' and then used it as if it meant 'cool'.

Later, people got annoyed of it and made themselves look like shitheads by defining it on Urbandictionary.com. The same people later gave this definition a thumb down because they felt offended by it.

And even later, this definition got deleted and no one could read it any longer. But by then, no one cared.

  2. I was just thinking how the word "Cool" has morphed through a couple of fazes, like "Kwel"... which amazingly the Urban Dictionary explains is "The fag way to spell 'cool'. I have never used the word "kwel", have you? Still, I guess I am a product of my environment. I mimic my dads quite a bit, and even learn a thing or two from you guys.

  3. One good outcome from this decision... military benefits. However, since our dads have a lot of civil assurances in place, and we live in the "Great State of Mississippi" where gay marriage is banned constitutionally, they will be leaving those in force... just in case those decisions are reversed.

It will give them lower insurance on my youngest brother, and one of my dads, who will now have the benefits my Dad does.

  4. Oh yeah, that will do it... just tell us we cannot mess around, have sex, think about sex... breath. I think some people are going too far.

Sex in uniform, hmm... I am not into uniforms, but I know two people who are. I think the powers that be need to get their noses out of kid's pants and onto hiking, campfire building, tracking, or staying healthy.

BTW I and Paco knew we were gay when we were less than ten. My brothers are pretty sure too, so you might want to lower your age ranges a bit. I understand kids are hitting puberty at a much younger age now.

  5. Have you ever had one of those dreams, or maybe a nightmare, where you are sure you have read something... seemingly important, but just cannot remember where?

Last night I had this one I just could not drop. It was so vivid I can quote it word-for-word. It was about a post I read here on Awesomedude... except, it never was. Never was a post, I mean. The topic had to do with some photos someone had seen on the internet of two boys messing around with a razor and removing hairs in intimate places. These boys were about my and Paco's ages. The person posting actually said he hoped that there were no photos of Paco or me on the internet anywhere, or from Skype, that someone was using to get off.

First, just so there is no question, I do know of one photo of me that got out there, when I was like thirteen. But, at that time I would never have let anyone but Paco or Dad see me naked... I was wearing shorts. Paco on the other hand, has messed up on numerous occasions and given out photos of himself, and played around on Skype as well.

As for removing intimate hairs... Paco calls me his French Hairless, so it was not me in that etheral photo, and Paco would not deign to remove any... even if he needed to, which he does not. Now, if someone from this forum was worried about us, we would be certainly appreciative, but their concern would be misplaced. Our dads are very constrictive about who, what, when and where on the internet we are. On the off-chance our likenesses did show up on a site, or in some dude's hands, and we made someone's day... sokay with us.

At least no one was hurt in the dreaming.

  6. Arg! Cannot sleep!!!

Paco and I are soon to look sort of like these two cuties, except we will be wearing knee boots with our doublets. I expect we will be like salt and pepper though.

Speaking of the Princes in the Tower, I saw the famous painting by Sir John Millais from the Royal Holloway collection on tour several years ago.I have loved this painting since I was a teenager.

  7. By the way, the spinning leaps he makes just before the end of his dance are Grand Jete' , which Rafael and Jeremy perform six of at the end of The Dance of the Friends," in the sequel to my story.

I have been told to say, "Those were petit jeté, not grand jeté. A grand jeté is a leaping mid-air split, where the body is quite a ways off the floor. That is why the grand jeté is so tough and even one can be a very tiring skill." There, your resource has spoken.

    Tim says "Hi!"

  8. Not to be immodest, some 10 years ago, I tried to promote the construction of a theatre that would utilise exactly that kind of experience, but local funding bodies just couldn't understand the concept or its inherent value. I'm just pleased to see it presented, but I am wondering if the screen was real or was the whole thing a videoed mock-up?

There is a screen/video setup in the Sony Center in downtown Philadelphia, PA much like the one in this video, so I do not think the entire thing is a mock up. The Sony Center puts on a Christmas presentation every year starting around Thanksgiving that lasts around forty minutes. Their screen is completely wrap-around video that is about two stories tall and about 100 feet long, inside the lobby.
