  1. I have leopard on mine, when mine was purchased it came with both disk got it last nov, you will be fine with tiger :)

I run anti virus just in case intego, and firewall.

I use camino, I seem to be fine with getting into my bank account on it.

    Got a intel mac?

    A mac pro or Imac?

  2. So are you saying that Ben and Jerry's Everything 2wisted isn't a rich and creamy treat with big hunks of white and dark chocolate and peanutbutter cups?? :hehe:

Actually, the statement you made about agreeing with Bush if you really want to shock people is exactly right.

Never been a big ben and jerry's fan, not that I had it alot, have to try it sometime then.

I'll say this incase they get the wrong thoughts. I consider my self an independent, I like some parts from each side.

I would love to see a new party come in.

  3. Hmm, some people in the Miltary that are gay isn't so bad, but for some it's pretty bad. but most of the soldiers do not care

For Obama, I read some articles on him and videos, it seems that for each audience he talks to, he says lets say he talks to a rural crowed he's all for the 2nd amendment, when it comes to a more liberal crowd, he's for more gun control, but both sides do that.

  4. I don't know if I'd go so far as to call anyone a liar, but I will say that Keith Olberman is a manipulator. He plays on the emotions of people who don't want to see through his distortions, but that's his job. Rush limbaugh and Shawn Hannity do it too. Is it wrong? Maybe, but that's what they get paid to do.

What makes it so sickening to me in Olberman's case is the fact that he invokes the memories of the lost troops to get his point across, but at the same time, he takes a shot at them by indirectly calling them murderers. Rush Limbaugh and Shawn Hannity call for the war to continue for whatever reason, but neither of them have ever served in the armed services. That puts them on the same level as that lowlife Olberman, as far as I'm concered. Instead of taking what they say so seriously, why not examine all of the facts and come to logical conclusions?

Fact: Olberman is employed by MSNBC, an ultra left wing network that is dedicated to socialist causes such as national health care, gun control, welfare dependence and income redistribution.

Fact: Hannity is employed by Fox, an ultra right wing network that is dedicated to draconian causes such as restriction of reproductive rights, the prohibition of gay rights, the Patriot Act, Patriot Act II and powerful anti drug laws.

Fact: Ben and Jerry's Everything 2wisted is a rich and creamy treat with big hunks of white chocolate, dark chocolate and peanutbutter cups.

Fact: We all have our own positions and convictions. We're a community, though, and should strive to respect everyone's opinion, regardless of how misguided we might think it is.

Fact: I should really take my own advice sometimes icon1.gif

I agree with most of the statements nick has put here, Olberman is doing things which I despise which both sides of the political spectrum does.

Olberman is just doing the same rhetoric that others are doing, if you really want to be shocking then agree with bush. bush bashing is nothing new.

there is other things that olberman has done which is done that has only had his interest at best which I don't care for at all. Wish we had a real news achor like walter cronkite.

  5. Well, I live in what's considered to be the bible belt, and in the same city where Pat Robertson broadcasts the 700 club, and I can say that I've never dealt with religious pressure. On the other hand, I was given detention in the 7th grade for telling my english teacher that Christianity was not "Christian Mythology," which is what she wanted us to call it in her classroom.

I agree 100% with you on that statement.

Me and Nick live in the same state but, it's nothing like that up here, Where there's no pressure brought on religion. I think he did the right thing by stepping down. although him still saying there just going to have sex in these meetings, what some of those parents said is redicous, when your an educator, you do not not your religious beliefs first, or how you conduct a class.

  6. Or get an emachine, if you need a desktop those are extremely cheap.

Mostly that i find cool about is, it's very cheap, only a dell laptop is almost as cheap, it's weight, just the screen I find too small, if it has a hdmi or dvi I could hook it up to another monitor. again it's only around 530 bucks on amazon, I would like to try it out, but I never saw it on a store.

I find macs easy as well. even when it was just 0s 8 and 9. But for a first time computer user, I don't know.

  7. Could someone point to a website with details about this machine?

My Mum has been making noises about wanting to be connected and it might be just the trick.

I seen it on amazon James. runs around 500 bucks for one of them.

  8. They fixed that issue with a patch after the contest, , Obviously apple needs to step up more

I have a firewall and a anti virus set up on my mac pro, cannot just have nothing to protect the computer.

Also when it comes to what Colin put above, look at the address, like with case where you go to your email account, people send you a thing saying there the bank, it's not at all, banks use https. for secure reasons.

I haven't used pages, but one thing, I hated publisher, it's no indesign or quark, doesn't have the right features.

  9. Representatives of a conservative legal organization contend that a program aiming to foster a healthy learning environment is actually a Trojan horse for the "homosexual agenda."

"The Human Rights Campaign can say what they want, but the program speaks for itself," said Alliance Defense Fund legal counsel Austin Nimocks on Tuesday, "and it's designed to get kids to believe that their sex is not a biological fact, but an inconvenience that's changeable based on how they feel."

Again, all they want is the gay kids to feel there not right, and "fix" them.

  10. Mostly said once he gets out it there should be a support or better support system, Im not entirely convinced education will help deter the bigotry and other things, just because it's taught in school, like I said before schools can do only so much depends on home environment the neighbor hood. Parents I think half the time now needs a lesson on somethings, but II do think parents need to really talk to them on how to handle situations.

  11. So what should we do, just give him a pat on the back and let him go?

And the school part sorry I don't think schools are the only thing that can make society great, schools can only do so much, Agree schools probably didn't do enough, just because he gets punished or someone steps in doesn't mean he wouldn't kill Lawrence

And then how many years should go in for?, some say he should just get help, then what kind of place then, would he be able to go wherever he wanted?

Not quite sure he should be tried as an adult, not the same what jakob was saying.

What jakob said after he does get out though, I agree, he needs a job, plus a good environment. or the cycle starts again, not saying he would kill again, but "criminal"
