I found this gem on e-bay. Some j@ck@ss stole my copy of this album and Weird Scenes Inside the Gold Mine back in the day. I'm not a big vinyl collector but I've got some good stuff. Lots of it is 1st edition.

It's an awesome album and worth a few bucks. The album art is cool and the tracks read like a best of the early Doors which of course it was.

Pretty cool. I could even say, far out, groovy. ;)

I'm not sure I have a few of those, now I'll have to look. (Moonlight Drive, plus B-3, 5, 6, and 7.)

Great music.

The Doors have ruled since I discovered them at the age of ten. I saw them on Ed Sullivan, the famous episode when they performed "Light My Fire" and Jim Morrison sings"Higher" when Ed specifically told him not to. Ah, the innocence of television in the sixties. I think my father began to suspect his son was different from other boys when he caught a ten year-old FreeThinker gazing rapturously at the cover of their first album, although I'm sure there may have been signs earlier....
