Merkin
I’m thrilled to see “Debating Love” by Funtails revisited here on Awesome Dude. First found on Nifty back in 2007, it set a standard for excellence among the many British boarding school sagas that were cropping up across gay story sites. To my mind this story is still one of the most thoughtfully written and thought-provoking explorations of the many characteristics of love and lust among boys. At a crucial time for adolescent boys, while personalities are still forming, physical development is surging, and adults are remote and aloof, these boys are forced to live together and discover their abilities for self-examination, personal growth, and relationship. This is a story well worth reading more than once. Link to comment
Mattyboy
Ah, written in 2007 makes a lot of sense, I recognized the names of some of the cricketers from that generation, and was wondering why it was set at that level of recent past. Makes sense now. Link to comment
Cole Parker
I totally agree. I've read this one more than once. A very good story indeed. Very well written, too. C Link to comment
