I suppose everyone already knows about this talented young man, but there is something thrilling about his dynamic relationship to the music he plays. Such drama is rare. Here is a two minute snip of Georgii Cherkin playing the finale of Liszt'z No. 1 piano Concerto.

The Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto #2, just as is his Symphony #2, is one of the most glorious pieces of music ever written, in my humble opinion. Anyone unfamiliar with either really should listen to them both from beginning to end.
