DesDownunder
I suppose everyone already knows about this talented young man, but there is something thrilling about his dynamic relationship to the music he plays. Such drama is rare. Here is a two minute snip of Georgii Cherkin playing the finale of Liszt'z No. 1 piano Concerto. If you want more, his Rachmaninov No. 2 is even more exciting. Link to comment
Cole Parker
The Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto #2, just as is his Symphony #2, is one of the most glorious pieces of music ever written, in my humble opinion. Anyone unfamiliar with either really should listen to them both from beginning to end. C Link to comment
