Lugnutz
What do you do for inspiration? Anything I seem to put together lately ends up being shot down for one reason or another. I have a couple in this stage but stalled out for lack of interest lately. Nothing around me to stir up anything either. It was nice watching a kid play with the carts at the laundromat. colinian
Just an idea: Go back to a story you wrote long ago. Read it and think about the characters and make notes. First, the protagonist and what challenges and crises he faced and why he won. Then the antagonist and what he tried to do and why he failed. Where would they be today? What if the antagonist showed up at the protagonist's door asking for help? Or if they both went to a high school or college reunion and saw each other, how would they react? You'd probably have the basis for a story that would be easier to write. Colin Link to comment
