Wow, that's quite a photograph. Both the arresting illustration on the index page for this story, and also the story itself. Fascinating in that it gives the reader a snapshot (sorry) of a point in history when things were very different, and in introducing the excellent work of a brilliant photographer.

It's a well-told story and a wistful retrospective tale. Lovely.
