Cole Parker
http://news.yahoo.com/video/us-15749625/bo...-cheer-22181559 This stuff makes me sick. This incident happened in Findlay, Ohio. That, incidentally, is where Ben Rothlisberger is from. If you don't recognize the name, he's the Pittsburgh Steeler's quarterback who was recently in trouble for raping a girl in a bar restroom while friends stood at the door and prevented her freinds from getting in to help her. Must be a great town to grow up in. Cute kid! C Quote Link to comment
Merkin
The statistics are overwhelming. And disgusting. One in three middle schoolers experience bullying. There is so much variation in physical size and ability at these ages that kids at the smaller, weaker end of the spectrum are helpless. This kid looks fit, but he was set upon by a gang. What can be done? James Quote Link to comment

What can be done?James The most effective thing that can be done is bring charges agains school administrators who do not act to protect kids in their schools. This boy was hurt on the way home from school. The law requires he attend school. Walking home from school is a school-related function. The school must act to provide safety for it's students. The poice are involved now, but the school has to have policies in place to prevent this. In schools where there are policies and stringent rules, bullying is much, much reduced.
